Stellar Jay is the brainchild of lo-fi artist, Joseph Collins, a musician and music producer from Denver, CO. In 2023, Collins started this solo project while settling into a new life in the Pacific Northwest. With his family by his side (Julie Jay, as co-producer and creative director and JSky, as artist and violinist) Joe is embracing his creativity and musical talent. A former member of the disbanded Denver rock band Hard Karma, Joe enjoys this new opportunity to delve into a range of genres and pursue musical inspirations and collaborations. The musical stylings of Stellar Jay is a blend of Electronica, Synth Pop, Dance Rock, and Trip Hop with an emphasis on rockin' guitars and funky beats.
